UP (Uttar Pradesh) neet counselling 2021-It will be conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP under the authority of State Government. It organizes the counselling for 85% quota seats in the state medical and dental colleges. Candidates must register for counselling to get admission in various government and private medical/dental colleges and universities in MBBS/BDS courses.
Registration for Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling 2021 will start in the second week of September (tentatively). UP NEET 2021 counselling will take place in three rounds. The third round will be an open round or mop-up round. The counselling will be in online mode.
NOTE-: Admission to MBBS/ BDS courses offered by the medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh is done on the basis of the marks scored in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test only. No other entrance test will be conducted by the state for this purpose. Only those candidates can participate in UP NEET Counselling 2021 whose name will be there in UP NEET merit list 2021.
UP NEET UG Counselling 2021 Eligibility
- Age: As per the eligibility criteria of UP MBBS/BDS admission, candidates must be a minimum of 17 years old as on December 31, 2021.
- Academic: Students who have passed class 12 or have appeared for the final exams are eligible for NEET 2021.
- Domicile: Only aspirants who are a domicile of Uttar Pradesh are going to be eligible for UP MBBS admission.
- Wards of freedom fighters/defence personnel/all India government service employees who are serving in the state will also be eligible for admission of Uttar Pradesh MBBS 2021.
- NEET 2021 cutoff: Authority will grant Uttar Pradesh MBBS admission on the premise of candidates’ performance in NEET UG exam. Only students securing the NEET cutoff will be called for UP MBBS/BDS 2021 admission.

Uttar Pradesh MBBS 2021 counselling -Stepwise procedure
Registration:
- The counselling authority will publish the NEET 2021 merit list for the qualified candidates along with the result.
- Candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling process as per the prepared merit list.
- Candidates have to register on the website and submit the registration fee through internet banking.
- Security Money –After completing the registration process, candidates have to pay a refundable security deposit or “security money”. This security money has to be paid via a Demand Draft in favour of “Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P”, payable at Lucknow. The security money differs for the candidates who wish to participate for private or government colleges.

Choice Filling:
- Candidates can fill online choices by using their registration number and transaction Id.
- During the counselling procedure, candidates will need to fill the choices of colleges.
- Candidates have to fill their choices as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they can.
Allotment Result:
- Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank scored and their preferred choices.
- Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the website.
- Candidates can also download their allotment letter to report the allotted college for admission.
Reporting to Allotted College:
- The candidates are advised to report to the allotted institution with seat allotment letter before the last date of admission.
- The seats will be considered as confirmed only after the successful payment of the admission fee and verification of documents.
