Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) – Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad has released a recruitment notification for the post of Graduate and Technician Apprentice from candidates who hold a degree/diploma from a recognised university coming under Western Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for ISRO SAC Apprentice recruitment 2020 on or before the closing date of the form – 23 November 2020.

The period of training will be one year and apprentices enrolled will be registered under the Apprentice Act, 1961. Those who have undergone/are undergoing Apprenticeship training or have job experience for a period of one year or more as on the date of joining as Apprentice are not eligible and hence can not apply for the above Apprenticeship training. ISRO SAC selection will be entirely based on the merit list. After that the selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training at Western Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Maharashtra, Gujrat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Diu & Daman (UTs)). Eligibility Criteria for ISRO SAC Apprentice Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Apprentice – B.E/B.Tech. (FIRST CLASS) with aggregate minimum 65% Marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale in the relevant field declared by recognized University.
• Technician Apprentice – Diploma (FIRST CLASS) in the relevant field declared by State Board of Technical Education/University

ISRO SAC Apprentice Recruitment 2020 Age Limit – 35 years (There will be no age limit for reserved category candidates as per government norms)

Selection Procedure

• SAC Apprentice selection will be based on merit list.

1. The percentage of marks in qualifying exam (Diploma/Degree) declared by the recognized University /Board/ Institute will be considered in order to short list candidates.

2. Empanelment / short listing of candidates will be on the basis of information furnished in the online application.

3. Only short listed / empaneled candidates will be called for documents verification and further process subject to availability of vacant positions for Apprenticeship.

4. Intimation to short listed / empaneled candidates for further process will be sent through E-mail. For this purpose, candidates are required to furnish their E-mail ID correctly and compulsorily while submitting the application.
